The United States Postal Service has announced that it will be hosting job fairs in four Alabama cities during the first week of December.
On December 6th, the company will be hosting one in Alexander City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Alexander City Post Office. USPS is looking specifically for both rural carrier associates and assistant rural carriers.
There will be postal service leaders on hand to answer any questions attendees may have, including those on the application process.
According to USPS, career employees can earn premium long-term benefits along with good pay. Some of the benefits include multiple health and life insurance choices, pension benefits and a Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) like a 401(k), and vacation time and sick leave.
